Friday is the final day of business at Sam’s Club stores in Greece and Henrietta, two of the 63 locations closing nationwide.

Dwina Joy from Pittsford has been a Sam's Club member for more than 20 years.

She stopped by the Henrietta store one last time.

"We need to watch our money we need to watch our spending so we go where we get a really good product for our money," she said. "It is really sad to see all these buildings empty."

Walmart says it's been working to relocate as many employees as possible.

We spoke to a few employees on their last day at the Henrietta store.

One woman told me she's worked for Sam's Club for 24 years.

She says she cried all day.

The liquidation sale started the day after Walmart listed the specific Sam's Club stores that would be closing at end of this month.

Customers stood in long lines to buy up all the bulk bargains, emptying shelves within days.

Some of the locations set to close are being converted to regional distributional centers to help fill online purchases.

The company says the closures are based on declining business in some markets and stale population numbers.

There are a couple hundred employees affected between the two Rochester area stores.

Walmart, owner of Sam's Club, is currently the world's largest employer with an estimated 2.2 million employees.
